The old saying goes if you can't beat them join them. It looks like Amazon Prime may soon offer an Ad Supported Streaming/CTV tier. What next?


We already know all the major networks are heavily focused & invested in streaming & CTV.


CBS owns Paramount+ and Pluto. CBS changed its name to Paramount Global on February 16, 2022.


NBCUniversal owns Peacock & Xumo...,


Fox owns Tubi & Fox Now...


ABC owns Disney Hulu, and ESPN+...


There are more but I am keeping it brief.

November 3rd, 2022 Netflix jumped into the ad-supported streaming world by offering an ad-supported tier.


On November 7th, 2023, the Wall Street Journal and other media outlets announced that Amazon Prime is considering offering an ad-supported tier.
