SISU Is a concept that I have been living with since I was 18. I didn't know there was a word for this concept, it is just how I went about working through life. Hard work, resilience, honor, integrity, and succeeding when doubters thought otherwise.
In 2018 a waitress from Finland taught me and my wife the word SISU and it instantly stuck. I have been sharing it ever since. I even named my boat SISU
I am not finnish, I don't think I even know anyone from Finland. I just found a web page dedicated to my favorite concept SISU. I have read the definition many times but this page is an outstanding explanation of SISU. Please read and share
