This is not a political post, I do not make them. This is about the state of #Television #Cable and #Streaming today.
A common question I ask people. What are you watching? and how do you watch? I am really trying to find good shows.
Here's what's currently making waves on television:
US President Joe Biden shares a surprising wartime story, claiming his uncle fell victim to cannibals during WWII. The long-awaited trial concerning Trump's hush money to Stormy Daniels is set to commence on April 15, as ruled by the judge.
These headlines, among others I won't mention, are arguably the most imaginative content on TV right now.
Speaking of what's on, have you checked the most popular programs of 2024. It is slim pickings. I can't think of one new program we schedule as appointment viewing and I miss that. Currently, we are retro, watching Frasier, Scandal (at the time it came out it seemed farfetched but looking at things today it seems spot on) end believe it or not my wife and I are watching the original 1977 Love Boat.
Go ahead and Google's most popular TV programs 2024. You will either be surprised or be like me and constantly ask Whats On!

If you follow this link or Google 2024 most popular shows you will find #streaming & #CTV are dominating the scene.
Traditional cable is dwindling, penetration numbers are around 46% in the US. Even cable companies have given up, Comcast and Spectrum shifted to Xumo streaming player. In my opinion it is a horrible option, more expensive than most streaming boxes and you can only use it if you are on their high speed Internet, that is ridiculous.
Streaming platforms are flourishing in terms of viewership and advertising Amazon recently joined the ad game on January 29th, if you're interested in advertising on Amazon prime let's talk. Before Amazon went live with advertising it was Netflix's in 2022. Max, Paramount+, and Peacock have also been in the advertising game for several years. It's clear that streaming services end advertisers have embraced ads as a way to monetize and connect with their vast audience. As they say advertisers and marketers follow the eyeballs.
I can help you make that connection let's talk
#CTV #streaming #OTT always getting better for viewers and advertisers
